Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 and 4 remake to be revealed in March

The announcement for two hit skateboard remakes is scheduled to take place on March 4, 2025.

Hopes for the series’ revival were revitalized in the most unlikely of places, a Black Ops 6 easter egg. The “Grind” map, set in a Venice Beach skate park, returns from Black Ops 2 and 4.

On this map is a TV screen with the date “03.04.24” in a font many have drawn comparisons to The Tony Hawk Pro Skater logo.

When perceptive fans shared screenshots on X, the official Tony Hawk and Xbox accounts cryptically acknowledged the findings but did not confirm the theory at the time.

Many users have also subscribed to the theory that the numbers “03” and “04” refer to the third and fourth entries in the Tony Hawk series; given how the most recent entry was a remake of the first two games, which were released on Steam on October 3, 2023

Coincidence? Perhaps, but given the recent countdown that appeared on the official Tony Hawk game site, it doesn’t seem so far-fetched after all.

All of this transpired mere days after skater Tyshawn Jones, who also appeared in the 2023 remake, announced on the Breakfast Club Power 101.1FM podcast that he was set to appear in an upcoming Pro Skater remake.

Jones said: “I’m in a Tony Hawk [game] coming out. They got a new one they remastering, so that’s about to come out.”

Vicarious Studios was praised for bringing the skateboarding parkour simulator to modern graphics and controls, and many fans are eager to see what they will introduce next to the franchise.

All that’s left is to wait for March to come around to hear about what’s next for the Pro Skater franchise, which has been a long time coming for hardcore Tony Hawk fans.
