There is an article written on the Tizen Wiki providing instructions on creating a live USB for Tizen IVI 2.0 or higher on Ubuntu 12.10+ as-well as instructions how to emulate Tizen IVI on PC. Although this doesn’t limit this to just Ubuntu and can easily be adapted to fit into other Linux distributions. You’ll need a computer or virtual machine and a USB flash drive or SD card with at least 4GB of space but we recommend 8GB to install the newer releases.
Tizen IVI 2.0 works on Intel processors internal graphics core and discrete graphics cards are not supported aswell as Atom processors with PowerVR GPU. To find out more about how to emulate Tizen IVI on PC and create a live USB for Tizen IVI visit Tizen Wiki
