Interested in helping create the next generation of tech tools for teaching and learning?
The education technology accelerator Startl is seeking entrepreneurs and designers interested in building innovative mobile applications for learning. Startl is accepting application now for its November 2010 Mobile Design Boost.
The Mobile Design Boost is a four day hack and design bootcamp, taking place in San Francisco on November 11-14. The deadline to apply is September 17.
Startl is looking for developers interested in making cutting edge mobile learning applications on the Android, iPhone, Symbian and BlackBerry platforms. According to Startl, “there’s a serious lack of high-quality mobile applications for learning and education on the market, so there’s a massive opportunity to make a difference and make your mark.”
Startl hopes to encourage the development of mobile products that will engage learners’ interests while advancing critical skills and competencies and that will bridge in-school and out-of-school, online and offline learning.
