Shards – the brick breaker, is a game where you need to break the bricks. This is another arcade game that has come to the Tizen Store and has been ported from Android. The game has eighty levels, each one has its own background which looks nice and sci-fi like. The sounds are ‘Fast and Furious’ (movie title alert!) but slower when you are actually playing a level. Shards has been rated four point six out of five by five people, the majority rating it a five. The developer, Tomas Rychnovsky, has currently made one other game called Fruit Dating.
How to play
Once you get into a game, you need to first shoot the ball to the glass so then it can smash and create shards, hence the word ‘Shards.’ Then the ball will hit the glass bricks and come back down some way or another. When it comes down, you need to make sure you hit it, otherwise, it would fall and you would lose one of your balls. You can check how many you have in the top-left corner. When the ball hits a glass brick, the brick could release a power-up or something bad. An example of a power-up is when you have the power ball which can destroy all the bricks in its path. (EVIL LAUGH!!) An example of something the glass can release is when it makes your ball fast which makes it harder to hit it with your pad. Once you’ve finished the first level, you can then proceed to the next until you finish all eighty current levels. It will keep you busy.
