Update: Now also available in Sri Lanka, Nepal as well as Bangladesh
The Samsung Z1, the first Tizen smartphone, was initially released in India but was later launched in Bangladesh. Today it has received yet another software / firmware update, taking it to version CPG1 / Z130HDDU0CPG1.
Z1 users in Bangladesh will be disappointed to hear that the update still does not have the Ultra Data Saving Mode (UDSM) or call recording features that has been available for the Z1 in India. The update is only 3.2MB in size, but could be larger, as was in our case, depending on your current firmware version.
This is the second time that we have seen newer updates appear in Bangladesh compared to India who are still on firmware CPD5. It seems that the update is mainly security fixes but changelog mentioned in the update states the following:
- Device stability improvements, bug fixes
- New and / or enhanced features
- Further improvements to performance
