The Samsung Z1 has been released in several countries including India, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka. The Z1 launched with Tizen 2.3, but following the launch of the Tizen 2.4 Beta Software Test Program in India, users have been looking forward to getting the final Tizen 2.4 release for their device.
Some of our users might be Interested in knowing that the first Tizen 2.4 firmware file , version Z130HDDU0COL6 for the Indian region, is available to download. This particular firmware is not available via an Over The Air (OTA) software update. It seems some users did momentarily get the update via KIES, a Samsung software application available on the computer, but it has since been withdrawed.
NOTE: This update is meant ONLY for Indian Samsung Z1 smartphones. You could have issues if you update Non-Indian devices.
