Samsung is rolling out a new range of AI-powered features for its latest range of TV sets to enhance the customer experience.
Samsung Vision AI has been tipped to deliver better picture quality, clearer sound, and further experiences that will make a positive impact on the viewer. That will include the functionality to translate foreign language content in real-time, as well as instantly listing the ingredients for a food creation shown on screen.
Another is Click to Search. This tool can identify people, products, and places on your screen and then locate the relevant information with one click of the AI button on your remote. If you are engrossed in a series or movie, the feature can relay details on the actors, where a scene was located, and even the clothing used on the set.
Click to Search can identify people, places, or products on your screen and provide live information tailored to you. With just one click of the new AI button on your SolarCell remote, you can learn who the actors are in a given scene, where that scene is taking place or even the clothing the characters are wearing.
The South Korean tech giant, which this week raised its stake in Rainbow Robotics, wants to raise the bar with TV, creating “intelligent partners” for an immersive, personalized experience that can even act as a home security device.
Details were released ahead of the headline CES event in Las Vegas this week, the biggest consumer tech exhibition in the world, with a vast range of new products to be showcased to over 100,000 attendees at the industry gathering.
Providing new experiences to “simplify your life”
