Samsung Preparing a Revolutionary Printer-Based Tizen?

 
 
Earlier this year, Samsung Electronics promoting existing printer business to a new business division under the consumer electronics segment and announced that they would strengthen the printer business. Whenever Samsung decided to “strengthen” one of his businesses, they will develop an innovative and different products for later would involve aggressive marketing resources thereafter.
After promoting printer business into a widespread division, Samsung has taken the “mobile” as a keyword for printer products that are “innovative and different”. And today Samsung has announced that they will make revolutionary improvements to its printer, which when you touch the button “print” on your smartphone or tablet from Samsung, or file content is automatically printed by Samsung printer closest to you.
Samsung has also prepared a Samsung Mobile Print application – with the “print” on this application will print some or all of the content stored on the smartphone, including images / photos, e-mail, documents, PDF and MS Office documents.
Samsung multi-function printer will come with features that can send scanned documents directly to a smartphone, which is called the “scan-to-phone”. Samsung also stressed that mobile printing application is the only application that can send faxes directly.
The printer itself along with the in-vehicle infotainment system (IVI) , Smart TV , notebook / laptop and Smart Camera is a device which is planned to be in the “Tizen OS Compliance Profile” along with smartphones and tablets that have been supported at this time.
Samsung has introduced the first color laser printer in the world that supports Near Field Communication (NFC) in the exhibition CEBIT 2013 that took place in Germany in March. When a smartphone that has NFC function swiped (or marked / tagged) on the printer, the file will be automatically printed appointed without going through the hassle of setting up a smartphone for printing. Samsung printers that support NFC are scheduled to be launched globally in the second half of this year.
