The Galaxy Note 9 has got a couple more features with the April 2019 security patch. This is update firmware version is N960FXXU2CSDE and began its rollout in Germany. Now, its the turn of the rest of the world to get some ‘update goodness’. The Note 9 update rollout has reached the shores of the UK, and also other parts of Europe and Asia.
One new feature, that many people may like, is that the Note 9 finally has the option to set a schedule for Night Mode. Night Mode, if you don’t know already, is a theme that you can use on your smartphone to make everything darker to make it visually comforting in the dark.
In selfie mode, another feature is that you can now switch between the fields of view (a narrow and a wider field of view.) By default, the selfie camera is set at 68 degrees. It can be changed to the 80-degree field of view (the maximum degree) with just a tap to the toggle switch – which is placed about the shutter button. This feature was initially introduced with the S10 and then was brought to the Galaxy S9, and now it has come to the Note 9.
