According to a Digital Times Korean report, Samsung Electronics is still planning on expanding on the number of countries that the Samsung Z3 Tizen Smartphone will be offered in. We have previously reported on the Z3 being available in Russia for the business to business corporate and government customers, due to it attaining the Security Certification for Russian Government and Corporate use.
Now it looks like the Z3 will also be offered to Russian consumers in early 2016, the report claiming some of the reasons for a Russian release are due to the availability of Russian-language traffic applications and the governments desire to look for smartphone solutions other than that offered by Android and iOS. The Z3 will also be offered in Indonesia and well as other 10 markets in Europe in the first quarter of 2016 at the earliest. The list we have exclusively reported on previously included: UK, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, Lithuania, Latvia, and Kazakhstan. The Z3 is currently only offered in India.
