Samsung just announced the launch of the Golf Edition of its recently released Galaxy Watch. Aimed directly at golf players (and fans), the Galaxy Watch Golf Edition puts a caddie on your wrist. And if you’re familiar with the game of golf, you probably know just how important a caddie is on the course. They are the ones who make golfing all the more hassle-free by supplying you with every relevant detail including geographical features of the course, the right club for any particular shot, and much more.

There are plenty of wearables which help you navigate through golf courses, and even track your golf swing or help you choose the right club. Samsung joined the race with the Gear S3 Golf Edition last year. And to follow up, the Korean giant has now launched the Golf Edition of its successor, Galaxy Watch as well.
Basically, the only difference between the regular Galaxy Watch and the Golf Edition is some added golf-centric software features. Otherwise, it’s the same Galaxy Watch Samsung launched last month in New York.
The Galaxy Watch Golf Edition bundles in the Smart Caddie app which made its way out with the Gear S3 counterpart last year. Developed in collaboration with Golfzon Deca, the app boasts information about 60,000 golf courses across the globe. Additionally, the app can track your shot and keep a record of it. Thanks to Galaxy Watch’s big battery, the battery life will be enough to get you through 54 holes (or three full rounds of golf).
The Galaxy Watch Golf Edition is now available in South Korea, at a starting price of KRW 409,700 ($367) for 46mm and KRW 389,900 ($351) for 42mm. There’s no word yet on the global availability of this special edition of Galaxy Watch.
