The Galaxy Fit e is officially released for sale and can be pre-ordered right now. It costs €40, which puts it in the budget fitness category. This is far less than the €100 price tag of the Galaxy Fit. The Samsung Galaxy Fit e does have the feature set that it’s perspective audience want, Heart Rate Monitor (HRM), 5ATM water resistance almost a full week of battery life. If you are a bit more frugal with your watch usage you can apparently get 13 days of casual use.
The Galaxy Fit e, even though it is a budget device, has some advanced fitness features that some of its older wearable siblings have. There is automatic activity detection, that detects if you are working out and automatically starts tracking it. Whether you are walking, running or dynamic training, this will get logged and synced with Samsung Health on your phone. There’s also sleep tracking to see if it really was a “good nights” sleep you got.
It has a 0.74” monochrome OLED display that is capable of showing you the time and a step counter by default. You can also get push notifications and calendar events displayed from your phone.
As the galaxy fit e released, you can now pre-order the tracker from multiple European stores, including Samsung and its European sub-sites. The tracker itself is black, but you do have a choice of colors for the straps; Black, White and Yellow.
