Crab SuperGrip is a a Mobile Phone car holder. Well aren’t all car holders the same ? Well actually NO! This guys different.
Immediately from unboxing it you notice how small this little ‘fella is and the quality of parts is very good and it looks remarkably similar to an ExoGear ExoMount.
A few useful features:
- Can hold a Mobile phone device upto 5″.Possibly a tad more 🙂
- Mounting Clip that is easy to Open
- Mounting Clip that has added rubber padding to not abuse your loved one (the phone)
- Sticky Suction Cup that makes it feel as if it is bonded to whatever you attach it to
- Easy to use lever
The most notable / interesting thing is the suction cup. YES, you read that right, the suction cup its made of that new modern sticky rubber stuff which I’ve never seen on a suction cup and it works really well. For peace of mind stick it and forget it, this holder should deliver on this promise.
The only downside that I see to this unit it what it won’t be suitable for overly heavy SAT NAV units that weigh a ton but for its target market of smartphones it should be just fine.
