Excellent News. The Qt for Tizen Team has been working away on a new release and here it is, Qt for Tizen Alpha 5.
This new update contains:
- improvements of Qt Quick Controls
- update to Tizen 2.2.1
- update to Qt 5.2 RC1
The Tizen Alpha 5 update brings improvements to Qt Quick Controls, aligns to newer Tizen 2.2.1 and standard Qt 5.2 RC 1 that was released a week ago.
WHAT’S NEW IN QT TIZEN INTEGRATION 1.0 ALPHA 5?
Updates for Tizen 2.2.1. Qt users can switch to newer emulator and build tools from the SDK 2.2.1 released in November.
Improved of Qt Quick Controls dedicated for Tizen applications. Added RadioButton, ScrollView controls. BusyIndicator and Switch controls now use the official Qt Quick Controls API.
Instead of using accelerometer, they now depend on Tizen’s window manager.
Added handling of Tizen’s virtual keyboard. Qt Quick Controls such as TextField automatically display the keyboard when necessary.
