The second alpha of Qt for Tizen 1.0 has been released after 30 days of development of various frameworks such as mobile optimized , cross-platform application and user interface development framework. Qt for Tizen consists of two products which are a Qt framework for Tizen and Qt Tizen Integration. Which have been upgraded from the first alpha implementing the latest Qt mobile technologies. GUI quick controls have been added according to Tizen guidelines which hasn’t affected the comfort in development or the ability to port Qt code to other platforms.
Quick overview of Changes:
- Qt for Tizen is now official community Work-In-Progress Qt port
- Confirmed Support for Tizen Reference Devices RD-210 and RD-PQ.
- Upgrade to Qt 5.2 alpha
- Qt Quick Controls Style Compliance.
- Preliminary Solution for Packaging and Installation.
- New Qt Quick Controls With Native Look & Feel.
