Next Level Racing’s new Victory Cockpit might be the perfect way for new race sim drivers to up their driving game

Next Level Racing is one of the go-to brands when it comes to the best add-ons for your new race or flight sim gear. You have bought all that expensive stuff but propping it up on your computer desk or coffee table doesn’t really offer the full F1 or F16 experience.

For that you need to add in something like a wheel stand or, if you have the space, a flight or racing cockpit.

These heavy items, often constructed from large metal tubes may be cumbersome but boy do they let you play the games the way they were meant to be played. They also tend to cost an amount that can get easily towards what you paid for all the electronics so are rarely an impulse buy.

Next Level Racing has been working for a while to bring some budget options to the table, such as a new low-cost wheel stand and now the Victory Cockpit. Priced at an extremely reasonable £279/$299 the Victory is a great jumping-off point before you get super serious about your sim racing. It even has a seat sliding mechanism to make getting in and out easier on the old knees.

Victory Cockpit

NLR says, “Designed with limited spaces in mind, the compact design of the Victory Simulator Cockpit allows it to fit easily into living rooms, bedrooms, or dedicated gaming setups. The ergonomically optimized racing seat, featuring integrated seat sliders, ensures comfort, while the cockpit’s adjustable components make it perfect for racers of all sizes. The shifter arm offers the flexibility to switch sides depending on your racing style. Quick assembly and its low-profile design make this cockpit a great option for anyone seeking a space-saving sim racing solution.”

And space saving is the key really as not everybody has the space to pop in a traditional massive-style cockpit with three huge monitors bolted to the front.

The Victory Cockpit is available now and you can find a retailer near you via Next Level Racing’s website.
