Although the Coronavirus is sending everyone into quarantine, Huawei has announced their new devices. Not only are they planning on releasing their P40 series, but they also announced the brand new Huawei Watch GT 2e and the Sound X wireless speaker.
The Huawei Watch GT 2e
The new smartwatch will have a 455mAh battery that should last you two weeks. But obviously, how long the battery lasts depends on how much you use it. The Huawei Watch GT 2e also has a circular AMOLED screen, 4GB of storage, Bluetooth 5.1 and the Huawei HiSilicon Hi1132 processor.
The Huawei Sound X wireless speaker
Huawei co-engineered the Sound X speaker with the French audio company Devialet. The wireless speaker features Devialet’s patented Speaker Active Matching (SAM). As well as this, the speaker has signal-processing and Push-Push speaker design which is supposed to reduce the speaker’s physical vibrations.
The speaker releases audio all the way around. That’s right – 360-degrees Hi-Res audio. Huawei recommends that you use Huawei Share to play audio from your device to the speaker. But, you can still share audio via Wi-Fi Direct and Bluetooth.
The P40 Smartphones
The smartphone’s OLED display is 6.1-inches. Although, with the rounded corners of the device, the viewable area will be slightly smaller. The screen’s resolution is 2340 x 180 pixels.
Prices and Release Dates
The Huawei Watch GT 2e is planned to be released in April for £199 ($220). The Sound X speaker, however, is planned on being launched in the summer and no pricing information has been disclosed yet. The P40 is set to be released in April and is available to pre-order right now!
