CollabNet announced today a series of Web-based, self-paced courses on agile programming techniques. If you are looking to get serious about using these methods, the courses represent a good value and are taught by the company’s experienced trainers. The topics include:
Introduction to Scrum
The Backlog Refinement Meeting
The Sprint Planning Meeting
CollabNet is the provider of Subversion and ScrumWorks Pro, which is used by more than 150,000 developers at thousands of companies around the world. You can get unlimited access to the entire curriculum for $198 for a year’s subscription. More information about the new offerings and other CollabNet training is available here.
More training modules and lectures are being continuously added to the series.
Also announced today from the company is a new version of Lab Management 2.4, which is a cloud-based service that enables IT users to configure environments; upload software assets, set up and tear down lab environments; and manage projects. The tool delivers dynamic elastic build-and-test server provisioning from any private or public cloud, or the CollabNet server cloud. Through its integration with CollabNet’s TeamForge 6.1 ALM platform (released in June 2011), customers can for the first time deploy a fully integrated, elastic continuous integration framework.
The software is available in onprem and hosted versions start at $40 per month and $140 per month, respectively.
