For 10 years, ReadWrite has been on top of the trends transforming technology. But one of the biggest ones we’ve grappled with is the inexorable rise of the Mobile Web.
For years, we’ve been tracking and analyzing this profound shift in how we access the Internet. And one of the most helpful guides along the way has been Simon Khalaf, the CEO of Flurry, a maker of mobile analytics and monetization tools.
Measuring Mobile’s Big Moment
Now, as mobile usage promises to overtake desktop usage in almost every aspect of how we live and work, I’m very pleased to tell you that I’ve invited Khalaf to be my next conversation partner at ReadWriteMix, our intimate interview series held at Say Space in San Francisco. Mark your calendars: It’s Wednesday, December 11, at 6 p.m. (Reserve your seat now!)

What I love about Khalaf and his colleagues is that they don’t just spew data. Instead, they form insights based on the consumer behavior they and their customers see. For example, Flurry’s data helped us call an end to the era of easy riches in mobile app stores and see how social apps were replacing games as the dominant mobile category.
Khalaf also has some great stories from the pioneer days of smartphones, when he had some run-ins with the power players of the mobile world.
Like the last ReadWriteMix, where I interviewed investor Keith Rabois on how to find the next trillion dollars in technology, it promises to be a deeply engaging and spirited conversation as we unlock the secrets of the mobile world.
Space is limited. Please reserve your place, and join us in December!
(Note: I’m also planning our ReadWriteMix event calendar for 2014. If you’d like to propose a speaker, please get in touch with me.)
