Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra is taking us back to the World War 2 era of good vs evil, contrary to that of today’s movie adaptations.
Because of this, there will be some different faces on show but also at least one fan-favorite hero in Captain America, since it was during this period he received his powers.
Below, we’ll reveal what the characters are along with the voice actors playing them so you can get a feel for the impressive cast behind the in-game reincarnations.
Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra voice actors
Even though we won’t be seeing the game for some time, we have some insight into what characters will be in the game along with the voice actors who will be playing them.
Here is the full list of Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra voice actors we know so far:
- Steve Rogers/Captain America – Drew Moerlein
- Azzuri/Black Panther – Khary Payton
- Gabriel Jones – Marque Richardson
- Nanali – Megalyn Echikunwoke
- Howard Stark – Joel Johnstone
- Julie – Lyne Renée
Khary Payton as Black Panther is already garnering some admirers based on the trailers that have been released for the game, with many suggesting that his performance will be one of the greats.
The other actors look to have similarly stellar performances, really getting the fanbase hyped for release.
Since the premise will be very story driven with a limited number of core characters though, we don’t anticipate that this list will get too extensive.
However, there will be more additions since we don’t see any actual ‘villain’ in the initial voice actors reveal.
For who this might be, we expect to see Red Skull in some form, who definitely won’t be played by Hugo Weaving, as he explicitly stated he would not reprise his role in any form.
Ross Marquand was his replacement in Infinity War onward but again, it’s unlikely he’ll be in the game since the whole announced cast so far hasn’t featured in any of the movies.
Regardless of who is recruited, we’re sure it’ll be a brilliant appointment based on the above list, and the choices for those in Marvel Rivals.
