The Lenovo’s IdeaPad S100 was one of the netbooks that we saw at Computex earlier this year. Now it has started to get distributed in Europe running a single-core, 1.33GHz Intel Atom N435 processor. The standard trim includes a 10.1-inch 1024×600 display, a 160GB, 5,400 RPM hard drive, and 1GB DDR3 RAM. The battery provides six to seven hours of use.
Recently we have had MeeGo netbooks gaining momentum as the Lenovo IdeaPad S100 joins the Samsung N100, Acer Aspire One D257, Asus Eee PC-X101 and Fujitsu LifeBook MH330 MeeGo netbooks. The S100 comes in black, red or blue and is priced at 180 euros ($260 USD) in Europe.
