According to to some new rumours, Samsung might actually be looking at releasing a Tizen Smartphone in Russia after all, the Samsung Z2. Since it cancelled the launch of the Samsung Z it seems our Korean friends are not ready to relinquish control of the Federation quite yet, after all this is a region that traditionally Samsung has done very well in, and could potentially do better if Tizen is marketed properly.
The Samsung Z2 (a temporary name), has apparently been mentioned by Samsung Tizen Korea, as a more powerful bigger brother Smartphone compared to the Samsung Z1, and could potentially appeal to the Russian market better than the budget market focused Z1 that the Indian market will initially see.
There is still is no news if we will ever see the Samsung Z, but we would hope that Samsung put this “Smart” looking device into the Hands of developers where right now it truly belongs.
