Huawei has to still deal with the US Trade Ban and are pushing forward with the Mate 30 series that will have an impressive 40MP super sensing camera.
Huawei Mate 30 Pro Camera
A 40MP camera?! Yes, that’s right, the same camera as the P30 from March 2019. Not only this impressive camera, the Mate 30 Pro will get another camera that the company call the “Cine Camera”. This camera is also a 40MP camera but it is also ultra wide – hence the “Cine” part of the name. Both of the cameras can use the 3D ToF sensor to render bokeh in videos.

Now that we’ve covered the first two cameras, let’s move onto the third. This camera is an 8MP shooter that has a 3x optical zoom. The camera has a hybrid zoom of 5x. There is optical image stabilisation for both the tele and the wide camera.
The 40MP sensors sit behind the apertures. The main camera has a sensor type of 1/1.7-inch with a f/1.6 aperture. The cine camera, however, 1/1.54″-type camera with an aspect ratio of 3:2. The ultra wide lens has an aperture of f/1.8.

The rear camera of the smartphone is a 1/1.7″ 40MP sensor that has a RYYB colour filter. It also has a f/1.8 aperture. The telephoto camera is 8MP and has a 3x optical zoom but a 5x hybrid xo om. The ultra camera has a 16MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The selfie camera has a 24MP sensor.
We look forward to getting out hands on the Huawei Mate 30 series and experience the goodness that is the camera ourselves.
