CCP Games has been beavering away at spin-offs to draw people into the amazing game world that is EVE Online for a good while, and EVE: Frontier is the latest effort to expand the EVE universe in the shape of a space survival MMO.
EVE: Frontier has been in closed alpha for a bit now but we are about to get an opportunity for a whole 10 days to register as “Remnents” to experience it for ourselves.
Running between the 14th of February and the 24th we will need to, “explore, exploit and expand in the face of perpetual annihilation. The Frontier is a shattered region of space, warped by the presence of supermassive black holes gravitationally bound in a macabre dance. Rogue AI infests its depths; corrupting and consuming the remnants of what still stands”. Okay. Let’s get going.
How to join the EVE: Frontier trial
All you need to do to get the free 10-day access to EVE: Frontier is sign up at the website and then all Remnants will be able to log in on Valentine’s Day to try out what’s there already.
Should you be well into it you can continue your journey by purchasing one of the three available Founder’s packs which range in price from $ 39.99 to $99.99 depending on how much of a Founder you wanna be. Basically, the more you pay, the more game time you get pre-paid when Eve: Frontier eventually launches.
There is no launch date for the game yet, but a Founder’s Edition will let you play with each new build until that happens.
