How to get the secret Garchomp Emblem in Pokemon TCG Pocket

While a lot of Pokemon TCG Pocket is right there on the table for you to see, there are some hidden elements to the game that you need to dig into.

One of these is secret items with one set in particular that keep cropping up time and time again — Emblems.

Here, we’ll be taking a look at how to get the secret Garchomp Emblem in Pokemon TCG Pocket, introduced with the Space-Time Smackdown expansion.

Pokemon TCG Pocket Garchomp Emblem: How to unlock

Contrary to some of the other Emblems in the game, you cant just go to the Shop and acquire it through exchanging Shop Tickets.

Instead, unlocking the Garchomp Emblem requires completing the Champion of the Sinnoh Region secret mission, a hidden challenge that tasks you with collecting specific Gold Star and Two Gold Star cards from the Space-Time Smackdown set.

This process is similar to how players acquired the Celebi Emblem from the Mythical Island expansion, so it’s only right that the next expansion follows suit.

To complete the Champion of the Sinnoh Region mission and unlock the Garchomp Emblem, you must collect the following cards:

  • Gastrodon (Gold Star)
  • Lucario (Gold Star)
  • Spiritomb (Gold Star)
  • Garchomp (Gold Star)
  • Cynthia (Two Gold Star)

Once you have all five required cards in your collection, the Garchomp Emblem will automatically unlock and be added to your profile.

If you’re an Emblem hunter and love to show off the hardest to acquire on your TCG Pocket profile, this one will be another to pick from.

Moreover, if you’re a Cynthia fan in general (we know there are a lot of you out there), it’ll be a must get regardless.

The cards required are tough finds though, especially the Two Gold Star Cynthia, so if you’ve saved those Pack Hourglasses up, now is the time to spend them!
