Moreover, you must also have at least 3 duplicates of the card you’re looking to trade which is quite a challenge if you’re going down the ‘free’ route, not paying for the Premium Pass or buying extra Poke Gold.

If you do have enough duplicates though, and want to get exchanging, go to the My Cards section, press on the card you want to exchange, hit the Obtain Items button, and select the Trade Token option.

The rarity of card you are exchanging has a drastic effect on the number of Trade Tokens you receive.

Here is a list of card rarities and the amount of Trade Tokens you’ll get in return:

  • 3 Diamond – 25 Trade Tokens
  • 4 Diamond – 125 Trade Tokens
  • 1 Star – 100 Trade Tokens
  • 2 Star – 300 Trade Tokens
  • 3 Star – 300 Trade Tokens
  • Crown – 1500 Trade Tokens
