Give your Gear S3 and Gear Sport a Christmas makeover with these FREE watchfaces

The year is coming to an end but we have Christmas to celebrate before bidding adieu to 2017. For most of us, this is a time to start decorating our homes in Christmas themes with lightings, toys, etc. But if you have a smartwatch such as the Gear S3 or the Gear Sport then you can give your smartwatch a little bit of a Christmas makeover as well.
If you have recently opened the Galaxy Apps store through the Samsung Gear App or Gear Manager app, then you might have noticed a special seasonal banner. When you open that, you will be introduced to a collection of 4 Christmas themed watchfaces designed by Apposter. The best thing about these watchfaces is that they’re all FREE!
While Apposter has not added a lot of functionality to these watchfaces, they have instead substituted that with a lot of functionality to each of the watchfaces. We will talk about each f the watchfaces and their specialities one by one below-

Winter in Lapland

We will start with my personal favorite from this list. This one has hillside scenery with a live animated snowfall. There’s also a little-animated reindeer in the background that keeps walking around. But the best part is that the watchface also offsets to reveal a bit more of the location when you shake your wrist.

Holiday Sweater

December is incomplete without an Ugly sweater day. So, don’t let your beloved Samsung smartwatch be an exception to this. This watchfaces gives a knitted woollen look on the screen. The speciality here is, the color of the sweater changes when you shake your wrist.

Santa Village

If you love snow, then this is the watchface for you. There’s no extra special creativity here, but the live snowfall is really pleasing to look at.

Bright Christmas

You can’t grow a Christmas tree on your smartwatch, but this watchface is pretty close to that. There’s the decorative lighting on the leaves which keep blinking all the time and even decorative balls to celebrate the festival.
