Gear S2 in 18K Rose Gold and Platinum
The Samsung Gear S2 has been already been released in a sporty looking S2 and also a more elegant S2 Classic. Now Samsung have launched two more new elegant editions of the Gear S2 classic at CES 2016, one encased in 18K Rose Gold and another in Platinum. The Rose gold version has an Ivory Genuine Leather Band, and the Platinum version has a Black Genuine Leather Band.
“In 2015, we set a new standard with the Gear S2 in smart wearable category. We broke barriers to introduce one of Samsung’s most progressive wearable devices to date,” said Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, Mobile Communications Business at Samsung Electronics. “In 2016, we will continue to raise the bar, so that we can deliver products that our customers want most.”
Samsung are betting big on the NFC functionality that is included in the Gear S2, seeing it as something that enhances its functionality in such things as mobile payments, which should be released in the US soon.
