It seems like only yesterday that the Gear Manager App received an update, well, actually it was almost a week since its release. For those not in the know, this program is used to connect your Smartphone to your Tizen wearable device. Now, we have had another update for the app, or specifically for the Gear Manager S Plugin component. The Samsung Gear App is updated to version 2.2.17082261 with the Gear S Plugin now on 2.2.03.17091261.
There is no change log that we have access to at the moment, but hopefully this S Plugin update brings with it some performance gains and the all too important bug fixes.
Manually update Gear Manager
If you do not get a notification to update your Gear software then you can manually update as below:-
- Launch Gear Manager App
- Select Settings tab
- Select About Samsung Gear App
- You should able to see the update listed.
If the above does not work, you can launch Samsung Galaxy Apps, search for Gear Manager and see if an update is listed there. Failing that you might have to wait for the release to reach your region.
