Galaxy Watch 4 new Exynos W920 chip provides major gains

Samsung’s next smartwatch, the Galaxy Watch 4, is said to come out on August 11 at Samsung’s next unpacked. However, rumours claim that the watch will be fitted with the new Exynos W920 chip that is said to provide major gains.

The numerous amount of leaks have shown us what it looks like, some of its features and its release date. The chip gives 1.25x CPU processing and 8.8x smoother graphics performance compared to its predecessor the Galaxy Watch 3. It should also come with 1.5 GB of RAM. That’s a 1.5x RAM improvement over the Galaxy Watch 3. Storage-wise we will be looking at 16GB if the leaks are to be believed.

The Galaxy Watch 4 will have Wear OS, Google Play Store, more RAM, and more Storage meaning it should be a more compelling buy then the GW3.

The Exynos W920 has been largely talked about over the few months for its amazing performance and will be put in all of the variants of the Galaxy Watch 4. The Exynos 9110 chipset was put in the Galaxy Watch Active 2 and 3 after being put in the Galaxy Watch in 2018. The Exynos W920 chipset is better than the old chipset in CPU and GPU performance in many ways. August 11, the release date, can not just come any faster.
