Usually, the signs that a new device release is imminent is that it’s support pages go LIVE. This has now happened with the Galaxy Watch 3. The newest Samsung smartwatch is expected to have its launch sometime this month. Possibly even 22 July.
On Samsung India’s website, the SM-R845F and the SM-R850 support pages have been found. The model numbers are for the 45mm and 41mm variants of the smartwatch. This confirmes that the smartwatch will launch in India – to the very least.
What can we expect from the Galaxy Watch 3
The Galaxy Watch 3 will come in two sizes – 41mm and 45mm. These two sizes will come in stainless steel and titanium. These versions of the smartwatch will also have the variants Wi-Fi Only and Wi-Fi + LTE.
The smartwatch will have a Super AMOLED display. The Galaxy Watch 3 is also pretty resistant. It has an IP68 rating as well as a MIL-STD-810G compliant design. This means that you can safely go swimming with the device. For the regular users, you the military compliant design means that you don’t have to worry about dropping the device too much – of course, every device has its limits.
The displays for the 41mm and 45mm variants, respectively, is 1.2-inch and 1.4-inch. In terms of storage, users get 1GB of RAM and 8GB of storage. The 41mm variant of the device will have a 247mAh battery whereas the larger variant will have a 340mAh battery.
The smartwatch will feature Tizen 5.5 out of the box. Like many others on the market, this smartwatch will have activity and health tracking. This includes heart rate monitoring as well as blood pressure monitoring. On the Galaxy Watch Active2, when the smartwatch detected the user was too stressed, it would notify them and get them to do a breathing exercise. I hope this will be on the device too.
