If you’re like me, then you love the latest software to be running on your smart devices. Today, the Galaxy Note 9 in the UK began receiving its Android Pie Over-the-Air (OTA) update. Many of our readers, including me, have been eagerly looking forward to this.
Galaxy Note 9 Android Pie UK update
The Note 9 has already been receiving the Android Pie update globally in various countries, but this is the first time that the UK has received it. Firmware version N960FXXU2CSA2 is now being seeded to unlocked variants in the country.
The update gives the UI a completely different feel from Samsung’s traditional feel. More like stock Android with the rounded corners and so far is well worth getting. There is also a much requested Dark Mode, which gives you a system wide dark theme. This is easy on the eyes and should also save on your battery. One UI is a pleasure to use, so far. As part of the update you also get the January security patch.
