Along with the Galaxy Wearable app, Samsung had also updated the Galaxy Buds plugin – which is a component of Galaxy wearable itself. The Galaxy Wearable app was updated to version 2.2.30.20031361. The Galaxy Buds update adds a couple of useful home screen widgets that you might enjoy.
The new widgets are compatible with both the wireless earbuds. The two widgets are 2×1 which are called Battery info and Quick control. The name of the first widgets seems to be pretty self-explanatory – it gives you battery info of the earbuds and the charging case. However, the Battery info widget isn’t interactive – it’s just there to sit and look pretty. The Quick control widget, however, let’s enable/disable the Ambient Sound feature and the touchpads straight from the home screen.
How to get the Galaxy Buds Widgets
First, you’ll need to make sure you’ve got the update from the Galaxy Wearables app. Then, you can set the widgets by pinching on your home screen and pressing ‘Widgets’. From there you can drag and drop them where you want them.
