Dropbox is mixing things up a little. After the launch of numerous competing cloud storage solutions over the last few months, it was thought that Dropbox was losing its title as king of online storage. That’s about to change as Dropbox has announced a competitive pricing structure and also additional features including the ability to assign new folder permissions which will be availavle for Pro accounts.
Now for $9.99 a month you can get 1TB of storage space, which previously used to only get you 100Gb. This move puts the online storage company in direct competition with OneDrive and Google Drive. New sharing controls will let you assign read or read / write control to files, and also set expiring timelimits to sharing URLs, so you can be confident that you are not sharing everything for all time.
