Delta Force is back with a bang during Steam Next Fest, giving you the opportunity to jump into the game’s different modes and partake in some intense combat.
Since this is classed as a Beta test, furthering what the Alpha brought last time, there has been additional content added.
Because of this, many are wondering if Delta Force controller support has been added and here, we’ll reveal all so you controller users know what you’re working with.
Does Delta Force have controller support?
Even though there have been more inclusions in the Delta Force Beta test, controller support has not made the cut.
This means that sadly, you can’t just plug your PS5 or Xbox controller in and get to playing the different modes the game has to offer.
However, even though there is no ‘official’ controller support, you can in fact still play the game with one with a workaround.
This is through using the Steam Input settings which technically allows you to play any game in Steam with a controller as long as it’s mapped correctly.
If you’d rather not mess around with the mapping yourself, you can download and use other user controller profiles which, if done correctly, should get you playing pretty quickly!
Obviously, having no ‘official’ controller support for Delta Force is still a bit of an issue and we expect that it’ll definitely be in place for the official release of the game.
This is because it will be releasing on console in the future so controller support will be baked in regardless, ensuring the PC variant should also have the feature.
