Check out these SmartThings Black Friday 2017 deals

Black Friday is a beloved retail holiday in the US, and Samsung’s SmartThings platform will offer some deals of its own for interested buyers. If you’ve been waiting to take the plunge and dive into the Internet of Things (IoT) and smart home tech, starting with SmartThings would be a good idea.
Samsung’s SmartThings Black Friday 2017 deals have been published by famous retailers Amazon, Best Buy, and Newegg, and you can find them below.

SmartThings Black Friday 2017 deals for Amazon and Best Buy

Amazon will Samsung’s SmartThings Hub v2 for just $49.98, 50% off the original retail price ($99.99), and $30 less than our most recent Hub deal. Pick up an old SmartThings Home Monitoring Kit for $149.99, half the $250 price tag. The Samsung SmartThings arrival sensor at Amazon will drop to $22.49 from $29.99, the Multipurpose sensor to $16.99 from $39.99, Water Leak sensor from $39.99 to $29.99, and Motion Sensor from $39.99 to $29.99.
Black Friday 2017 deals for Best Buy are the same as those for Amazon, so that’s another place to go if you’re looking to shop for internet-connected devices and pick up some non-Samsung items for family and friends.

SmartThings Black Friday 2017 deals for Newegg

Newegg is in the same benevolent spirit as Amazon and Best Buy for Black Friday, so do not worry. And yet, Newegg has some slightly more expensive prices on Samsung’s SmartThings Multipurpose Sensor, with it costing $29.95 instead of $16.99 as is the case with Amazon and Best Buy.
However, while its Multipurpose Sensor may be slightly more expensive, Newegg is selling the Motion Sensor will be $24.99, $5 less than the $29.99 price tag at Best Buy and Amazon. With that said, it depends on whether or not you think the $5 extra savings is worth bragging about; even if you don’t, the prices are practically the same and should give you a flexible shopping experience that lets you go where preference and/or mood take you.
SmartThings Black Friday 2017 deals will give you some significant savings, and you should be okay as long as you’re buying accessories. The SmartThings Hub gives great savings (especially on the newer version 2), and we see more consumers purchasing the new Hub outright over buying Sensors. The Internet of Things agenda is taking off, and as consumers grow in their interest to embrace this fully internet-connected, home automation philosophy they find themselves immersed in, they’ll want to do so without breaking the bank. We have a feeling that SmartThings Black Friday 2017 deals won’t disappoint.
Samsung’s SmartThings connects with iOS, Android, and Tizen devices as well as now allowing users to implement their NVIDIA Shield TV as a SmartThings Hub. The Korean giant recently dropped support for Windows Phones on the platform, though (just a heads-up for Windows Phone users).
