We’ve spent some time in recent weeks covering the Carrier IQ scandal, including the fact that iPhone owners have less to fear and that Senator Franken has called for an explanation. We even put together a ReadWriteWeb poll on the issue. Yesterday, Marshall Kirkpatrick expressed a desire for the freedom to participate in this technological age without having robots pigeonhole him into some predetermined marketing category.
But, even beyond the Carrier IQ activity, how do you feel about the overwhelming amount of data that is being collected about you at every turn? Are you uncomfortable?
We asked and culled your responses from Facebook, Google+, Twitter and the original post and we used Storify to present it all back to you. If you have additional responses, please leave them in the comments.
