4 Million euros are up for grabs at the BeMyApp Tizen challenge this weekend in France. The event will take place from 7PM on Friday 5th July and code writing will start at 10:30PM all the way up until 10:30PM on Sunday the 7th of July where the Winners will be announced. So its a full 48 hours of coding and little sleep! This event will be at the IESA multimedia Campus Opera – 5 Avenue de Opera, 75001 Paris. (Pyramids metro).
Runner up prizes include 1500 euros and Tizen smartphones when they are released. Anyone can join this challenge as long as you have an idea of an application and are the registered holder. Remember Tizen is a HTML5 orientated OS , so if you have a WebApp you can port this over to Tizen within the 48 hour period. We’re pretty exited about this event as it means more applications will bring many more applications to Tizen.
