Asus Shows off "Discover Thin" MeeGo Eee PC X 101 at Computex

The initial MeeGo device to cause a buzz at Computex was the Asus Eee PC X101. Billed as being ultra thin and portable I can only say that it lives up to those claims. The Selling reference point is $199 + Local taxes (where applicable).
Brian from Asus talks us through the fact that it is 17.6mm, weighing 950g and runs Asus AppStore which is basically a front end for the Intel AppUp Store. The MeeGo Eee PC X 101 will be provided in two forms, one with a 8Gb SSD Drive and the other as a standard Hard Disk Drive (HDD). It has to be mentioned that the model with a standard HDD is a bit thicker than the SSD “Thin” model.
