Asus announced two new Chromebooks that will be released tomorrow, at CES 2021. Asus claims this Chromebook is an extremely good device. Can the specifications confirm this?
The new 15.6-inch Chromebook Flip CX9 is a device that is a computer/tablet convertible, Like many others in Asus roster, the Flip CX5’s display can be rotated 360 degrees and has the feature tablet mode which can turn your device into something that looks like a touchscreen tablet with a keyboard on the back. You can also buy an optional stylus for note-taking, drawing ext.
Asus claims the CX9 and the CX5 will have the 11th generation Intel I7 processors, also with Intels Iris Xe graphics chip. It will have 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. Asus is very good with Google Stadia when it comes to gaming streaming, as many times in the past several sources have said Asus Chromebooks have done very well with the Game Streaming services in the past.
Unfortunately, we do not have the price for the Asus Chromebook Flip CX5, but we do know that it will be released later in the first quarter of 2021.
The Chromebook Flip CX9 is made for workers who demand high security. It will have Titan C security, for encrypted password and keys, pre-installed, so there is no need to browse around the internet for the file. The device may also receive updates every 6 weeks. The 14-inch Chromebook will weigh approximately 2.2 pounds and be 16mm thick. It will have the 11h Gen Core i7 processors and Intel’s Iris Xe graphics chips.
Wi-Fi 6 hardware is expected, as well as Harman Kardon dual speakers in the CX9. Just like the CX5, we do not know the price, but we do know it will be released in the second quarter of 2021.
