Apple.StackExchange is the latest topical site to launch in Beta from the StackExchange network. It seems likely to become one of the most popular of the now 25 well-designed Q&A sites, joining the legacy site serving developers (StackOverflow) and new sites on topics ranging from cooking to gaming to WordPress and GIS.
Apple.StackExchange says it intends to serve “power users of Apple hardware and software.” The StackExchange network raised $6 million from a dazzling team of All Star investors this Spring to build out a multitude of topical Q&A sites based on its formula of carefully crafted User Experience and reputation incentives for good-faith participation.
