Andriod One based Nokia 7+ and Android Go Nokia 1 leaked ahead of its MWC debut

Courtesy of notable phone leaker, Evan Blass, images of the upcoming Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 1 have been revealed via tweets ahead of the Mobile World Congress. Earlier this year, Juho Sarvikas, HMD’s chief product officer announced that the company would be showcasing something “awesome” at the MWC. The Nokia 7 Plus which the company is expected to debut at the MWC will be its first Android One device, it will also debut an unannounced entry-level Nokia 1.
Blass’ tweets revealed that the Nokia 7 Plus has Android One branding stamped on it’s back, rumours also have it that the Nokia 7 Plus will be a China-exclusive model. The high-end Nokia 7 plus features a fingerprint sensor at the back just below the camera and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage. The camera would be a rear Zeiss lens with 12MP + 13MP camera sensors, FDH + resolution of 2160×1080 with 18:9 display and 3000 mAh battery. The Nokia 7 Plus is a white colour scheme device with copper highlights on the buttons, a grey version comes with orange accents on the camera module, and sides of the phone.

Blass also revealed images of the Nokia 1 which has a more simpler design and no visible fingerprint sensor. The Nokia 1 has a 16:9 display, big bezels, a single rear and front camera and comes in black and red. The Nokia 1 will run on Andriod Oreo (Go edition) and comes with a 512MB to 1GB of memory storage. The Nokia 1 would likely come with the Android Go apps optimised for its slower hardware and will likely be cheaper than the Nokia 2.   MWC is just around the corner, we do not have long to wait to find out what HMD has planned to help relaunching the Nokia brand.
