Amazon has recently released their first app for smartwatches. What’s the app for? Well, Amazon has made this app for their Amazon Music service. The Amazon Music app is exclusively available on Garmin smartwatches. The app allows people subscribed to the service to stream music directly from the smartwatch. A nice feature if you ask me.
As well as this, people who have a prime subscription will be able to access 2 million music tracks from Amazon Music but if you have Amazon Music Unlimited, you get access to the whole 50 million. If you’re not sure whether the service is worth your money, you can use the service for free for 30 days.
As you may know, Garmin has had some other music streaming apps arrive. Some of the other streaming services includes iHeartRadio, Deezer and Spotify. So far, there hasn’t been any talk if other music streaming services will also arrive to Garmin smartwatches.
If you want to download Amazon Music onto your Garmin smartwatch, you can get it from Garmin’s Connect IQ Store. The smartwatches that are compatible with the Amazon Music app: the Forerunner 245 / 645 Music. The Forerunner 945 is also compatible. The Fenix 5 Plus series, Vivoactive 3 Music and the MARQ series are also compatible.
