Several years ago it began work on a second version. After closing a $500,000 round of funding in January, appearing at TechStars and making some hires, it was able to make some serious headway. Now, the new version is available for download.
Basic Vanilla is still free. The company charges for premium features, including support. Its menu of “addons” makes it customizable. Version 2 allows easier access and greater versatility for developers.
