Facebook Circles the Wagons

Facebook has called a sudden company-wide meeting for 4:00 pm Pacific time tomorrow to address the criticism they have received for their ongoing series of privacy changes.

Whether Facebook will circle the wagons in an attempt to retain and protect their users, or in an attempt to protect themselves from what they consider unfair outside judgment is unclear. Nick O’Neill on All Facebook suggested they may institute a “a temporary removal of the ‘Instant Personalization’ service, or at the least, a shift to ‘opt-in.'”

We will continue to follow Facebook’s changes including a report tomorrow on what we can find out about their all-hands meeting.
