iOS 6.1 System Update Released By Apple, Adds LTE For More Carriers

Apple Monday released iOS 6.1, now available as on over-the-air update from Settings > General. The system update should be available in iTunes shortly.

The update adds fast, 4G LTE connection support for more carriers worldwide (see the complete list here for iPhone and iPad).

It also allows U.S. users to purchase movie tickets through Fandango directly with Siri. iTunes Match subscribers can now download individual songs from iCloud. And there’s a new button to reset the Advertising Identifier, the new tracking number Apple has assigned to iOS users instead of a permanent Unique Device Identifier (UDID).
