At the tail end of last year there were reports of Samsung working on a second generation fitness tracker. At the time it looked as if this had nothing to do with Tizen so we largely ignored it. Well, now it appears that the new model might actually be powered by Tizen. It has been Internally code named Triathlon with a production model number of SM-R150.
Now, there are some leaked pictures that show what is allegedly the new wearable device. Samsung has gone for a similar round face as the sporty Gear S2 with a rotating bezel. There appears to be a heart rate sensor, water intake, body fat measurement, and excercise sets counter.
There also seems some type of accessory clip that lets you clip the tracker to your chest if you so wish. There is no news at the moment regarding pricing and the availability at the moment.
