The device dubbed Orbis or Gear A or Gear O has had some of its specifications leaked, according to Information leaked to Sammobile. Looks like we will be getting an Exynos 3472 dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz and the Mali-400 MP4 GPU clocked at 450 MHz, 768 MB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage, and a 250 mAh battery.
For connectivity we are looking at Bluetooth 4.1 (Hmmm) as well as a variant with Wi-Fi / Direct (802.11 b/g/n). Built in sensors will have GPS, accelerometer, gyro, barometer and a heart rate sensor that we are used to. As with previous Gear smart watches we will have a Super AMOLED display, but this one will have a resolution of 360×360 pixels.
There will be a bezel ring on top that can be used to aid in navigating the user Interface which has been designed for the new circular display. The Orbis (or whatever it will be called) looks like an exciting device and there are a further three specifications, in addition to the above, that will make it even better 😉 but lets leave that for another post. Official announcement shouldn’t be too far off now.
