As part of the spread of Tizen education in India, Samsung will train the youth of the Telangana Academy on innovative digital technologies based on the Tizen operating system.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between Samsung and the state government’s Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK). Samsung’s vice president (South West Asia) Deepak Bhardwaj and Task CEO Sujiv Nair signed the agreement in the presence of state Information Technology and Electronics minister K Tarakarama Rao.
A new Samsung Digital Academy will be setup to work with TASK to train youths on creating apps that can run across devices like smartphones, televisions and tablets. Nair said the training to students will be provided in all 10 districts of Telangana and this will help proliferate Samsung’s latest technology.
