Smartwatch buyers are rather specific about what they want in their new wrist gadgets each year, and most prefer a traditional circular over a square form factor. Many don’t mind their smartwatch being smart but want their smart wearable to put luxury form above function (it shouldn’t be too “geeky,” according to some).
Despite the desire of consumers for smartwatches to appear luxurious with good attention to design and detail, the truth of it all is that smartwatches are smart watches. They should do something more than appeal to one’s overall fashion sense.
Pandora (the in-car security system company, not the music service) is at work in smart cars nowadays but could use a bit more remote control from users when away from the vehicle. To this end, developer Alexey Khrameev has now released the Pandora Online App for the Gear S2 and Gear S3.
The Pandora Online app will allow you to monitor your car (or cars, multiple), examine your engine’s fuel level to see how much gas you have in the tank and determine if you need a gas station stop when leaving work, control over the temperature in the car as well as knowledge of the temperature outside and inside the vehicle, and remote abilities to enable or disable the car alarm as well as open or close the trunk. GPS tracking ensures that you can see where your car is at any moment, which could serve to help you find your way back to it if you’re at a mall surrounded by lots of vehicles.
Finally, in a move that will make some smile, the 2.02MB Pandora Online app for in-car security allows you to control multiple cars on your Gear S2 or Gear S3. In other words, the Pandora Online in-car security system app is all you need to maintain control over your vehicles.
For those that are interested in the Pandora Online App for Gear S2 and Gear S3 Smartwatches, you can find out more information below. Be sure to head on over to the Galaxy Apps Store under the Gear section and search for “Pandora Online.” For those who are already using it, let us know what you think of the app and what new features you’d like to see baked into it in the coming months.
